India’s ODI deputy Rohit Sharma took a good low catch while diving to his right to dismiss Australia’s all-rounder Marcus Stoinis. The right-hander was squared by Yuzvendra Chahal and the leg-spinner produced the outside edge when Stoinis bat closed too early. Rohit was alert at first slip and took a good low catch.

In fact, India’s fielding has been top class in the decider of the three-match series. Bhuvneshwar Kumar also took a splendid catch when he came running in from the deep to send back Glenn Maxwell.

Meanwhile, India has Australia on the mat as they have scalped seven wickets for 206 runs. It is not the easiest pitch to bat. In fact, there is help for the spinners as the pitch is on the dry side.

Yuzvendra Chahal has breathed down the neck of the Australian batsmen as he has taken four wickets. Chahal finally got his place in the last XI and the leg-spinner has grabbed his chance with both hands.

Meanwhile, Bhuvneshwar Kumar gave a perfect start to the visitors. India’s premier fast bowlers took two early wickets to put the hosts on the backfoot in the final ODI at Melbourne.

Kumar was able to plumb Aaron Finch in front of the wickets whereas he also got the wicket of Alex Carey. Furthermore, Mohammed Shami took the wicket of Glenn Maxwell.

On the other hand, Peter Handscomb has been the pick of the Australian batsman. The right-hander has scored his third ODI fifty as he batted with aplomb. In fact, Handscomb had played a crucial wicket of 73 runs in the first ODI when he was able to hit the ground running.
