In the ongoing Test series between Indian National Cricket Team and Australia, a lot has happened between two teams as the social media erupts. It was expected that wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant would dish it out to Australian captain Tim Paine when the latter walked out to bat in the second innings and that is just what happened at the MCG on Saturday (December 29). However, Delhi Capitals franchise which recently changed their name from Delhi Daredevils enjoyed the banter between the glovemen.

Moreover, when Pant was batting in the first innings, Paine was constantly vocal behind the stumps. He even hurled some funny words when Rohit Sharma was in the middle. Meanwhile, it was Pant’s turn when Paine came to bat in the middle.

Meanwhile, Pant addressed his teammate Mayank Agarwal, who was fielding close to the on-strike Paine. The wicket-keeper was constantly saying some words behind the stumps to distract Aussies skipper, Paine.

“We have got a special guest today, Monku. Have you ever heard the word ‘temporary captain?’ You don’t need anything to get him out, boy.” Rishabh Pant said.

However, Pant tactics eventually worked when Paine got out off Ravindra Jadeja’s delivery. The right-handed batsman could score 26 runs off 67 balls with the help of four boundaries.

Furthermore, the Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Capitals bought a total of ten cricketers at the recently-led IPL Players’ Auction 2019. It includes South Africa’s big-hitting batting sensation Colin Ingram for INR 6.40 crore, Axar Patel for INR 5 crore, Sherfane Rutherford for INR 2 crore, Hanuma Vihari for INR 2 crore and Ishant Sharma for INR 1.10 crore.

From their previous edition, Pant is among their retained fourteen players
