It seems like something is fishy in Cricket Australia setup over the ball-tampering issue, as the head coach Justin Langer meets Steven Smith out in private. Though the ban period is still four-months left for the star duo, the head coach speaking with the ex-skipper gave enough fodder for media to highlight the news article.
A notable media channel, 7 News Sydney has pictured Steven Smith and Justin Langer involving in some secret talk ahead of the series against India. It was surprising to see the head coach getting involved in a chat with the banned skipper of Australia.
Digging into their series of tweets, it read ”They still have four months left on their bans. But, Australian cricket coach Justin Langer appears to be welcoming Steven Smith and David Warner back into the fold. 7 News cameras spotted Langer having breakfast with the suspended captain.”

Meanwhile, the duo involved with the boys in the net session ahead of the first Test against India. The duo faced Australia star lineup to help them do better.

It was for the first time that Australian side welcomed the duo back in the fold. However, it would be interesting to see whether the respective board has any ideas of bringing back their players ahead of the conclusion of their ban.
Despite missing the international cricket, Steven Smith and David Warner have been busy with some franchise cricket in the banned period.
