Australian opener Marcus Harris was the lone warrior in the first innings of the Perth Test for Australia as he had scored 70 runs in the first innings. However, Jasprit Bumrah found success against him in the second essay when the Indian National Cricket Team was in need of a breakthrough.

Bumrah did the job yet again for the hosts

Jasprit Bumrah who bagged two wickets in the first essay took his first wicket picking up the priceless wicket of Harris. The southpaw managed to score only 20 runs. The visitors were seemingly under pressure as the hosts went onto scoring runs in the second innings. To release some burden from Indian skipper Virat Kohli, Bumrah did the right job to dismiss the opener.

Marcus Harris got an opportunity as he was dropped on one while Ishant deserved that wicket. Soon after that, the left-handed batsman smashed some boundaries to bail himself out of pressure.

However, the change in bowling did the trick for India. Jasprit Bumrah cleaned up Marcus Harris as it was an awful misjudgment from the batsman which provided India their first breakthrough. The last delivery should have given signs to Harris with the ball coming back in.

Moreover, the ball was full again, but the line was touch outside off. Harris didn’t anticipate it to come in as he raised his bat to let it pass. But the ball jagged in with the angle and knocked the off-pole. It was a fabulous delivery from Bumrah, and the whole Indian team along with skipper Kohli appreciated him for the breakthrough.
