Australia vs India 2018: Mitchell Marsh Comes Back to the Australia Squad for the Third Test

All-rounder Mitchell Marsh has made a come back to the Australia squad for the upcoming Boxing Day Test against Indian National Cricket team at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
Meanwhile, Marsh replaces Peter Handscomb given his poor form in the first two Tests and the MCG wicket. Tim Paine while speaking at the media talked about managing the fast bowler’s workload. He added that Marsh’s ability to chip in with the ball gave him a nod ahead.
“It’s a long series, our bowlers have had a really big workload and we feel we’re going to need Mitch’s bowling at some point,” Tim Paine, Australia’s captain, said on December 25. “I’m sure Pete would be upset. I think he’s had conversations with the selectors that there’s a few things they would like him to work on and Pete is open to that.
“Pete at his best is going to score a lot of Test runs and not just his batting, he brings a hell of a lot to our side in terms of his fielding, his experience and just the way he generally goes about his cricket. We’re sure he’ll score a lot more runs for Australia,” he added.
Moreover, Tim Paine also added Peter Handscomb will be in contention for the fourth Test in Sydney, as it is the most spin-friendly of the Australian pitches. Mitchell Marsh makes his return to the side averaging 11 across 11 knocks since the 96 in South Africa in March.
