Meanwhile, Bumrah reveals how Rohit Sharma’s suggestion worked to him for dismissing Shaun Marsh.

Just when Shaun Marsh and Travis Head was settling things in the middle, Jasprit Bumrah received a suggestion from his Mumbai Indians skipper to deliver a  slow ball to Shaun Marsh.

”Jasprit Bumrah in PC says Rohit Sharma suggested the ‘slower ball’ to Shaun Marsh ‘because nothing was happening’’, an Indian Journalist revealed.

The youngster, who executed the plan to perfection trapped Shaun Marsh Plumb in front. His incredible ability to dip the ball while delivering the slow ball did the trick for Indian National Cricket Team. Meanwhile, Marsh looked stunned in disbelief that he was outsmarted by a trickery.

Later, Jasprit Bumrah went on to pick 6-wicket-haul to register his best figures in an innings in his Test career. The feat also helped him to become the only Indian with highest wickets in Test format in the debut year.

He surpassed Dileep Joshi’s feat to break the 39-year-old record for India. All in all, it was a fabulous show by the Gujarat fast bowler on MCG track to bag all the applause across the globe.
