India’s fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah outfoxed Australia’s southpaw batter, Shaun Marsh. Bumrah took out a slower yorker from his armoury on the last ball of the morning session. However, Marsh was not able to pick it and was plumb in front. Thus, it was a perfect finish of the opening session for the visitors. Jasprit Bumrah was also able to get the better of Marcus Harris with a well-directed bouncer.

Jasprit Bumrah is getting better day by day as the pacer is ticking the right boxes. The fast bowler is asking the right questions and has been a perfect find for the Indian team. Bumrah has thus far played nine Test matches for India in which he has scalped 42 wickets.

The tourists scalped as many as four wickets in the first session of the Day three morning. Ishant Sharma moved to plan B when his plan A of bowling outside the off-stump to Aaron Finch didn’t work.

The lanky fast bowler moved Mayank Agarwal to the short mid-wicket region. Finch flicked the very next ball to Agarwal who took a staggering catch. Thus, Finch was caught in the web of plan B.

Furthermore, Ravindra Jadeja got the better of dangerous Usman Khawaja who has the skills to bat long. Mayank Agarwal took another good catch at short leg. There are enough footmarks in the pitch and Jadeja will like to make the most of them to ask difficult questions from the host’s batsmen.

India has put themselves in the driver’s seat after posting 443 runs in the first dig of the third Test match. Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Mayank Agarwal scored half-centuries whereas Cheteshwar Pujara scored a fine hundred.
