After the scintillating Test match at Adelaide, now, both the sides; Australia and India are travelling to Perth for the second Test of the ongoing four-match Test series. Australia got an extra-pressure after a poor performance. They conceded an advantage to visitors. Meanwhile, the former Australian Shane Warne suggested hosts include Marcus Stoinis for the impending Test.

It is a surprise call from legendary Warne, as Stoinis was not even named in the squad.

On the other hand, they already left out their all-rounder Mitchell Marsh from the playing XI for Adelaide Test to introduce Peter Handscomb in the playing XI.

However, Warne has got valid points to defend his decision. He feels that Stoinis can deliver the goods both with bat and a ball. And also, he added that Stoinis could add much-needed positivity to the side.

The former Australian believes Stoinis has got unique swagger style, which would be beneficial for Australia.

Moreover, Warne added that he would be disappointed if Stoinis won’t play at Perth.

Digging into his tweet, it read: ”I would be very disappointed if Marcus Stoinis doesn’t play the next test in Perth. Just needs the extra bowler and all-around skills of Stoinis plus the energy & swagger he brings to the table – this would rub off on the team.”

Well, it would be interesting to see whether Australia would consider Warne’s suggestion. To press for the strong case of Stoinis, he recently played a stunning knock for Western Australia in the domestic circuit.

Of late, Stoinis is in the form of his life, who is delivering the goods in both sections of the games. In addition, he has been brilliant in the limited-overs game and would be interesting to see whether he gets the Test cap or not.
