In a recent interview, the head coach of Australia, Justin Langer quoted that he is very much eager to have Steven Smith back on his side. He wants to welcome Steven Smith back with both hands when he finishes his ban period for Australia.

Besides speaking of Steven Smith, Justin Langer was pretty much vocal on his fast bowling department. He quoted that all their bowlers are working pretty hard for the success of Australia. He is sure that they will be wreaking havoc in the upcoming game as well.

“He’s our Virat Kohli,” Langer said. “We can’t wait to have him back. He’s the Virat Kohli of the Australian cricket team.”

“In a perfectly balanced side you’ll have someone who can bowl some overs so Mitch becomes an attractive commodity on a wicket probably unlike Adelaide and Perth,” he said. Our fast bowlers have been lucky, we’ve bowled less overs than India’s bowlers at the moment, particularly (Jasprit) Bumrah, and that’s an important part of the series. The more we can look after the guys, the better,” he added.

Well, the stats of Steven Smith richly agree to the comment made by him. As the head coach opined, the fast bowling section of both the sides has been brilliant in the Test series so far.
