Former India Test opener Aakash Chopra shared high praise of Indian National Cricket Team skipper Virat Kohli as he bailed his side out of danger on day two of the Perth Test against Australia.
Meanwhile, India finished day two on 172 for three with Kohli and Ajinkya Rahane at the crease. The duo pulled the visitors out of dire trouble as they lost their top-order quickly. Kohli was content leaving everything outside off stump, although Hazlewood once drew him into a false stroke with a wide delivery, while Lyon got one to turn big and just bounce over the off stump with Kohli leaving.
In doing so, Virat Kohli brought his 20th half-century as he dominated the Australian bowling line-up. He added 74 runs with Cheteshwar Pujara before the last match centurion departed on 24. Since then, Kohli paired Rahane to finish the day on a high. The Indian skipper looked majestic playing shots all over the park.

The top-ranked Test batsman is on the verge of yet another Test century as he remained unbeaten on 82 runs along with Rahane who is batting on 51 runs.
The former cricketer turned commentator, Aakash Chopra shared high praise for the talismanic run-scorer. He noted that Virat Kohli’s ability to bring out the best in demanding situations sets him apart. He also revealed that Virat Kohli is the best batsman on the planet.
“Kohli’s ability to bring the best out of himself when the contest demands is simply unbelievable…challenging pitch…top quality attack…Bring It On. Best batsman on the planet by a fair margin
