Indian skipper Virat Kohli is looking forward to the Australian tour with his teammate, Rishabh Pant. Kohli took to his Twitter account to share a picture with the Indian wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant. Meanwhile, Kohli had a sublime tour of Australia in 2014 and would look to repeat a similar kind of performance on this tour. On the other hand, this is a maiden tour for Rishabh Pant.

Kohli had scored 692 runs in the four Test matches at an outstanding average of 86.50 in 2014. In fact, it was the first time when Virat Kohli had gone on to lead India in the Test format. Kohli’s two centuries in Adelaide that almost sealed the deal for India, is still in the top drawers of his knocks.

Meanwhile, Virat Kohli has continued his dream form going. He had scored 593 runs on the England tour to put aside any doubt on his batting greatness. Kohli continued his Midas Touch going in the ODI series against the Windies as he completed the hat-trick of centuries. He also went past 10,000 in just 205 innings and became the fastest to get to the landmark.

Therefore, Virat Kohli has made it his habit of scoring runs every time he goes out to bat. In fact, Kohli is the most consistent batsman in the world and would look to carry in a similar fashion.

On the other hand, Rishabh Pant had scored a fine hundred in the final and fifth Test match at Oval against England. He also scored a couple of knocks of 92 runs in the Test series against the Windies. Thus, it is going to be a good test for the Indian gloveman on the tour of Down Under.

Virat Kohli took to Twitter to share thoughts. Kohli’s post read as, “Back to Australia. Looking forward to the next few weeks with this champion @RishabPant777 ✌️✌️”.

Kohli also uploaded a video in which he is sweating it out on the treadmill with Rishabh Pant.
