The recent verbal exchange between Virat Kohli and Tim Paine has brought a lot of debates in the International Cricket. Michael Hussey might have criticised Virat Kohli for his behaviour on the field but he feels that the duo banter was within limits.

Earlier, Michael Hussey quoted that Virat Kohli was out of control whenever wickets fall for India. But, as far as the verbal exchange is concerned, he feels that both the captains haven’t used any abuses to each other, which is a good sign.

They are giving Hundred Per Cent – Michael Hussey

The former Australian legendary cricketer quoted that both skippers are giving their all to secure a victory in the match. He feels that those things come out in the heat of the moment, which are fine.

Further, he went on to add saying that either of the both hasn’t used any abusive word, which is great on respective individuals. Hussey believes that a cracking game of cricket is ahead in an upcoming couple of Test matches.

”It did not go over the top. It was not aggressive or abusive. This is a tough series and you expect the odd thing to be said. It did not get out of hand. Their skills are tough and they are not compromising on playing as hard as they can. They are giving a hundred per cent, but if something needs to be said, it is not abusive,” said Hussey.

“I thought both players handled it well. It was nipped in the bud before it could escalate and get emotional. It showed both teams will play tough cricket and they are not going to back down. They will stand up for what they believe but doing it in the right way, not getting abusive or over the top,” he told PTI.

Well, it would be interesting to see how both the sides will approach the upcoming game. The third Test of the series is scheduled to be played on Boxing Day, which is always a special Test for the home side.
