The Indian captain Virat Kohli and Australian skipper Tim Paine were engaged in the war of words in the opening session of the ongoing second Test match. Paine was completing his single, however, Virat Kohli came in the right-hander’s way. In fact, both the players nearly bumped into each other.

Consequently, both of them exchanged a few words with each other. Subsequently, the standing umpire Chris Gaffaney intervened between the two captains and asked them to carry on with the game. Gaffaney also said, Play the game guys.

Totally unnecessary from the Indian captain.

On the other hand, Virat Kohli was also seen having a chat with umpire Kumar Dharmasena. Meanwhile, Virat Kohli had also said yesterday to Tim Paine that India is going 2-0 up in the series. However, Paine had also come up with a sharp reply as he said that you still have an innings to bat.

Meanwhile, it was absurd that Kohli got in the way of Tim Paine. It was totally unnecessary and could have been avoided by the Indian captain. Thus, Kohli was trying to get under the skin of the Australian captain.

Australia had batted with gumption in the first session as Tim Paine and Usman Khawaja didn’t throw in the towel. Both the batsmen added 58 runs in the opening session on Day four as the Indian bowlers once again bowled without any luck.

However, Mohammed Shami was able to strike on consecutive balls after the Lunch break. Shami bowled a ripper to get rid of the Australian captain Tim Paine. Subsequently, he also dismissed the injured Aaron Finch with the ball that was going towards the leg-side.
