Australia’s seamer Josh Hazlewood got the better off India’s opener KL Rahul with a fine yorker. It was the first ball of the sixth over and Josh Hazlewood was able to slightly move the ball away. Rahul who is out of form in the recent past had no answer to the accurate yorker. Meanwhile, KL Rahul has had a tough time in the recent past.

The Indian opener has been troubled by the incoming deliveries. Rahul has been dismissed via LBW or bowled on 10 times out of the last 13 innings. Thus, Rahul has continued with his dismal performance.

Rahul continues his poor form.

Thus, it has been a fine start for the Australian team as they have bagged two early wickets. Mitchell Starc had given a perfect start to the hosts when he jagged back the ball to knock out the middle stump of Murali Vijay.

Subsequently, Indian openers could not give a solid start to their team. Meanwhile, Australia had posted an above par score of 326 runs in the first innings. Marcus Harris had top-scored for the hosts as the southpaw opener had scored a good knock of 70 runs.

Harris was given support by Aaron Finch who had looked solid for his knock of 50 runs. Both the Australian openers gave a perfect start as they added an alliance of 112 runs. However, the Indian bowlers had looked bleak in the first session of the ongoing second Test match.

Meanwhile, India was able to wrap the Australian tail after Tim Paine and Pat Cummins threatened to bat long. The hosts added 49 runs to their overnight score of 277 runs for the remaining four wickets.
