India’s limited overs deputy Rohit Sharma timed the ball to perfection as he hit a majestic six over the covers region. In fact, this was Rohit Sharma’s second six of the day as he was looking good at the crease. Meanwhile, Virat Kohli has backed Rohit Sharma ahead of Hanuma Vihari for the first Test at Adelaide Oval.
Rohit has hit two sixes in his knock of 30 runs and he has also scored as many boundaries. Thus, the flamboyant batsman is looking good to grab his opportunity with both hands.

On the other hand, Virat Kohli won the toss and decided to bat first. However, India could not come up with a solid performance as they lost four wickets in the opening session. Consequently, the hosts dominated the first session as they got the better of the Indian batsmen.
Meanwhile, loose drives from the Indian batsmen led to their downfall. No batsman tried to apply himself and played careless shot while chasing the ball on the off-stump.

Josh Hazlewood was the pick of the Australian bowlers as the host’s vice-captain scalped two wickets. Furthermore, Mitchell Starc and Pat Cummins grabbed one wicket each to put the Indians on the backfoot.
Moreover, Australia’s catching was accurate in the first session. Usman Khawaja took a blinder to sent back India’s skipper Virat Kohli. Thus, it was a perfect start for them as they made most of the conditions.
There was a tennis ball bounce on the Adelaide pitch and the Aussie bowlers were able to make the most of it.
