India’s fast bowler Umesh Yadav was able to give the second breakthrough to India as he sent back Usman Khawaja. The Indian pacer pitched a short ball which took the outside edge to wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant. Yadav bent his back to extract the extra bounce and was rewarded for his accurate bowling. In fact, Jasprit Bumrah deserves a lot of credit for Khawaja’s dismissal.
Bumrah bowled a fiery spell in which he gave nothing away to the Australian batsmen. The fast bowler was right on the money as he didn’t let the tourists off the hook. Bumrah also scalped the crucial wicket of Aaron Finch who was going strong as he had scored a fine fifty.

Meanwhile, India is able to bounce back in the second session as they have taken three wickets after the Lunch break. Thus, it has been a solid comeback from the Indian bowlers after veering off the track in the first session.
Indian bowlers were short in their length in the opening session and didn’t hit the right length. However, the tourist’s bowlers were able to rectify their mistakes in the second session as they got three wickets.

India will like to get the better of Shaun Marsh as soon as possible as the stylish southpaw had played a crucial knock in the second innings of the first Test match.
Furthermore, India got the bonus wicket of Marcus Harris after Hanuma Vihari got one to jump off from the surface. Australia is currently batting at 145-3 at the Tea break and would like to add as many as they can to their first innings total.
