Babar Azam, Pakistan white-ball captain, has impinged himself as one of the potential modern-day greats. And, he has done that through sheer hard work, grit, character, prodigious skills, and the desire to be the best in the world.

Babar, who is the only batsman after India’s Virat Kohli to be in the top-ten rankings in all three formats of the game, recently engaged in an Instagram Live session with all-rounder Shoaib Malik.

During the conversation, Malik proceeded to put Babar in a spot when he asked him to name his favorite bhabhi. Azam went on to choose Sarfaraz Ahmed’s wife Khushbhakt, which infuriated Mailk’s wife and ace Indian Tennis superstar, Sania Mirza.

Infuriated by Babar Azam’s answer, Sania Mirza replied- “I will kill you’.

Meanwhile, Shoaib Malik has called for the resumption of bilateral cricket between arch-rivals India and Pakistan. According to Malik, the world badly needs rivalry to resume. He also went in to compare it with the iconic Ashes series between England and Australia.

“I think the world badly needs this rivalry to resume, in the same way, that world cricket needs the Ashes. Could England and Australia imagine Test cricket without an Ashes series? Both series are played with the same kind of passion and have such a great history, so it is a shame that we don’t play right now,” Shoaib Malik told PakPassion.net.

“Also, I have Pakistani friends who love to talk about Indian cricketers with respect and admiration. Similarly, I and my Pakistan teammates are given such love and support when we play in India so it is a rivalry that I would like to see return as soon as it is possible,” the all-rounder further said.
