BCB Announces Asia XI Squad To Face World XI In T20I Series

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced the Asia XI squad for the T20 series against the World XI. The board had already confirmed that Pakistan players would not be included for this series and as announced only players from Bangladesh, India, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, and Nepal will take part. The BCB has announced a star-studded squad for the series with the likes of Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, Mushfiqur Rahim, and Lasith Malinga getting the nod.
India’s stars in KL Rahul and Virat Kohli have formed stipulations with regards to their selections. KL Rahul will take part in only one of the two games while Virat Kohli’s participation still remains under the cloud. Along with the duo, Shikhar Dhawan, Rishabh Pant, Kuldeep Yadav, and Mohammed Shami have been named.

From Bangladesh, Liton Das, Tamim Iqbal, Mushfiqur Rahim, and Mustafizur Rahman will participate while Thisara Perera and Lasith Malinga would turn up from Sri Lanka. From Afghanistan and Nepal, Rashid Khan, Mujeeb Ur Rahman, and Sandeep Lamichanne have been included.
The Asia XI and World XI will square off in two T20 games on the 18th and 21st of March. The Shere Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka would host both of the games, beginning at 6:00 pm as per IST.

KL Rahul, Shikhar Dhawan, Tamim Iqbal, Virat Kohli, Liton Das, Rishabh Pant, Mushfiqur Rahim, Thisara Perera, Rashid Khan, Mustafizur Rahman, Sandeep Lamichhane, Lasith Malinga, Mohammed Shami, Kuldeep Yadav, Mujeeb Ur Rahman.
