In one of those bizarre events, a beer bottle was smashed on the person’s head at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. It is learnt that a rift between a couple of the fans went to an extreme level which ended up on the wrong side of the things.

The incident took place during the final of the second season of Karnataka Chalanachitra Cup at the Chinnaswamy Stadium. The spectator, who emerged drunk committed the folly on the fellow spectator.

As soon as the person got injured, he was rushed to the nearby hospital after profusely bleeding. It required surgery from the doctors to get back the person to a conscious state after the unfortunate incident.

According to the police, the incident happened at the food court of the P4 stand at the Chinnaswamy Stadium. Spectators caught hold of the accused and handed over to the police at the stadium. The incident happened between 8.40 PM  and 9:00 PM on Sunday.

The victim suffered four stitches:

It further came to known that the alleged victim, K Nagaraj, went to Chinnaswamy stadium to watch the game with his father.

Meanwhile, Kailash, who took alcohol misbehaved with his father which triggered the fight between the both.

“My parents were in the hospital for almost a week as they were getting treated for a fever. After they were discharged, I wanted them to have some relaxation and booked the tickets for the KCC match. However, this decision went horribly wrong as I was attacked by a spectator,” he said.

”I am recovering from the incident and suffered four stitches for the cut wound. The accused was walking with the beer bottle in his hand. Liquor was being served at the stands to spectators. The police who were present at the food court took him into custody,” K Nagaraj told Mirror.

However, things like this should not happen in the cricket stadium like M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

And the officials need to take care of them to prevent any further ruckus over it. It is surprising that the officials allowed a person, who happened to be drunk and hit another fan with a beer bottle.
