Former Australian fast bowler Damien Fleming said, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and James Anderson, are World’s best swing bowlers. Both of these talisman bowlers have the ability to swing the ball both ways and have done a fine job for their respective teams. In fact, Kumar and Anderson can get the ball to move in the air. Furthermore, both of them can extract seam movement of the pitch.

James Anderson has all the experience under his belt and had recently leapfrogged Glenn McGrath’s tally of 563 Test wickets. Thus, Anderson is now the leading wicket-getter as a fast bowler. On the other hand, Bhuvneswar Kumar has done a fine job for the Indian team.

Bhuvi and Anderson can get the ball to move both ways.

“I love watching Bhuvi Kumar because, probably with James Anderson, they are the best swing bowlers in the world,” Damien Fleming told Sydney Morning Herald. “He actually has the skills where he can bowl outswingers and inswingers to right and left-handed batsmen.”

Meanwhile, Kumar has added pace to his repertoire which has helped him yield results. Kumar used to bowl around 13o km/h and now adding the extra yard of pace has helped him in troubling the batsmen.

“When he (Bhuvi) first started, he lacked a yard or two in Test cricket, but he has increased his pace a little bit in the past two years,” Damien Fleming observed.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar has done a fine job for the Indian team. However, Kumar hasn’t looked at his best after coming back from the back injury. He had also missed the England tour due to the same injury. The Uttar Pradesh bowler will like to return back to his best on the upcoming Australia tour.

On the other hand, James Anderson is currently playing in Sri Lanka in the second Test match. Anderson has been a master of swing bowling and holds a lot of arrows in his quiver.
