Adelaide Strikers will play against Hobart Hurricanes on Sunday (13th December) in the fifth match of the Big Bash League 2020/21 (BBL 10) at Bellerive Oval (Hobart).

It will be the first match for Adelaide Strikers in the BBL 10. BBL 07 winners Strikers were the 4th best side in the BBL 09 as Sydney Thunder eliminated them from the Knockout.

On the other hand, Hobart Hurricanes already started their journey in this tournament as they played the opening match of this tournament against the defending champions Sydney Sixers, where Hurricanes claimed a 16-run victory.

In the head-to-head contest, Adelaide Strikers are ahead of Hobart Hurricanes by the 8-5 margin. However, in their head-to-head contest in the BBL 09, both teams managed to win their respective away matches.

While it hosted the opening game of this tournament between Hobart Hurricanes and the defending champions Sydney Sixers, Hurricanes won by 16 runs. After they scored 178/8 (20 overs), they restricted the Sixers to 162/6 (20 overs).

Then, this venue hosted the Saturday evening match between Melbourne Renegades and Perth Scorchers, where Renegades beat Scorchers by 7 wickets after bowled out their opponents for just 130 runs.

In the last season, the first batting team dominated at this venue.
