For the first time, India invited Bangladesh for a full-fledged series comprising three-match T20I series and two-match Test series. But the welcome has been far from satisfying considering the venue which they chose to host the match. Before the match, India had a 100% record of winning 8 T20Is against Bangladesh.

But the visitors didn’t bat an eye on the history and approached the game with a fresh perspective. They not only did their best to brave the conditions but also beat the hosts in all facets of the game to take a 1-0 lead in the series with two more matches to go.

After all the soul-crushing defeats at the hands of India over the years, Bangladeshi players gave absolutely everything on the field only to erase the painful memories. Meanwhile, Bollywood star Arbaaz Khan was spotted congratulating Bangladeshi players at the airport for their epic win over India in Delhi.

The actor captured a picture-perfect selfie with a beaming smile on his face and the Bangladeshi players too were pretty much happy to get clicked for the very beautiful moment. He went on to give special credits to Mushfiqur Rahim for his on-field batting exploits.

The wicketkeeper-batsman single-handedly took the Indian bowling attack to cleaners and to give his team the much-important win without experienced players like Tamim Iqbal and Shakib Al Hasan. “Met the victorious Bangladesh cricket team at the Delhi airport ? Mushfiqur Rahim was incredible ? looking forward to an exciting contest ahead ?,” Arbaaz’s caption read.

India have a do-or-die match ahead in the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Rajkot on November 7 (Thursday). On the other hand, Bangladesh will be eager to win the T20I series in India for the first time in history.
