In modern-day cricket, the sport has become a batsman’s game. But, there used to be a time when the bowlers used to dominate the sport. Bowling has two different types to it, spin bowling and fast bowling. In fast bowling, it is all about great speed, strength, accuracy, and discipline. Whereas, in spin bowling, it is more about using your mind creatively to unleash the right delivery at the right time.

On the international stage, it is difficult for a player to master an art. This has been the reason behind the downfall of multiple players. Well, some cricketers had mastered multiple arts on the international stage and performed exceptionally well for their teams.

In March 2000, when Miller was bowling in a match against New Zealand, he bowled spin against Stephen Fleming, and when Matthew Sinclair came to the crease on the last ball of the over, he completed the over with medium-fast bowling. Thus, he is in the list of those special bowlers who bowled spin and pace in the same match.

Manoj Prabhakar, a former all-rounder of the Indian cricket team, played for the Indian team for a long time. Though Prabhakar was known as a medium-pacer, he once bowled both spin and pace. In the 1996 world cup, in a game against Sri Lanka, Prabhakar gave away 33 runs in the first two overs in Delhi. Manoj Prabhakar could not impress with fast bowling.

But after this, he was again sent on the attack. This time, Prabhakar changed his bowling to spin bowling and gave only 14 runs in the next two overs. Prabhakar finished with unimpressive figures of 0 for 47 in his four overs and was booed on his home ground. Thus, he is in the list of those special bowlers who bowled spin and pace in the same match.
