Brad Hodge Hails Rashid Khan As The Greatest T20 Player Of This Generation

There is little denying the fact that Rashid Khan is one of the best spinners in the world at the moment. His mystery spin and his ability to bamboozle batsmen has made him one of the most sought after T20 players across the world. He has blown away batting line-ups all over the world over the last 12 months. Not surprisingly, he has plied his trade in every major T20 league across the world.

Currently, Rashid is in Australia and is making his mark once again. This is his second year in the Big Bash League where he is plying his trade for Adelaide Strikers. The leg-spinner began last year’s tournament as a relative unknown in Australia and has now returned as arguably the best T20 spinner in the world. In his maiden season of the Big Bash League, Rashid had finished the competition as the joint-highest wicket-taker. He had taken 18 wickets in just 11 games while conceding less than 6 runs per over. His performance played a key role as Strikers won their maiden BBL title.

Well, he has started the ongoing season in the same manner and is sitting at the top of wicket-takers’ list. The Afghanistan superstar has already taken 5 wickets in just 2 games.

On Sunday, he impressed with the ball again, picking up 2 wickets for just 13 runs off his four overs. But his heroic effort went in vain as Melbourne Renegades beat the Strikers by 5 wickets. And his effort was enough for Brad Hodge to lavish praise on the leg-spinner. The former Australia batsman hailed the spinner and called him the greatest T20 player of this generation, tweeting:
