Akram, on the other hand, is regarded as the greatest left-arm fast bowler ever to have played the game of cricket. Akram could swing the ball in both the directions and was one of the most unpredictable bowler’s in the world.

As quoted by Crictracker Lara said:

“Wasim Akram. He always made me feel stupid.”

In a previous interview with Dawn, Lara elaborated:

Oh, he was fast and furious. He bowled over and round the wicket, swung the ball both ways, a master of reverse swing and moreover, at times, he cut the ball prodigiously.”
