Cricket Australia XI fast bowler Aaron Hardie is just 19 years old. Aaron has wickets of two of the best batsman in the world under his belt, Joe Root and Virat Kohli and thus has an impressive resume. The right-hand paceman was able to get the better off England’s Test skipper last year. Hardie was also able to take a sharp caught and ball to take out the big fish, Virat Kohli in the ongoing four-day warm-up match.
Aaron Hardie said it was a pleasure for him to bowl to the best in the business. Kohli had scored a fine knock of 64 runs and it is a daunting task to scalp India’s skipper wicket once he gets settled in the crease.
Hardie went on say Virat Kohli was a bigger wicket for him as compared with Joe Root. However, he is happy to get them both under his pocket.

Aaron Hardie said while talking to cricket.com.au, “I’d say, Virat Kohli, maybe. But I’d take both of them though”.
The youngster said it was a pretty amazing feeling to bowl to Virat Kohli and dismiss him.
Aaron went on to add, “Yeah, it was a pretty amazing feeling. It all happened very quickly. He was smacking me around the park a bit and then he hit one back to me. It was an awesome feeling, pretty surreal. I think Virat was definitely (hardest to bowl to). He obviously is a world-class batsman, probably the best batsman in the world at the moment. He was certainly a challenge to bowl, there is no room for error”.
Furthermore, Aaron Hardie went on deliver the goods with the bat. He scored 69 off just 121 balls to get Cricket Australia XI in close proximity to India’s tally. The hosts trail by only two runs now.
Meanwhile, getting the big wicket of Virat Kohli must have added to shot in the arm for Aaron Hardie.
