Chris Gayle Wins 3,00,00 Australian Dollars in Fairfax Defamation Case

Turning the clock back, quite a few months ago, Chris Gayle got headlined for the wrong reasons by the Fairfax media. Soon, the news travelled across the world, where every press highlighted the name of Chris Gayle in the wrongdoing. Meanwhile, the frustrated veteran of the game filed a defamation case on Fairfax.
Meanwhile, Fairfax media quoted Chris Gayle had exposed himself to a female massage therapist. However, later, it came to known that Windies Stalwart player was innocent in the case, where the media has influenced by Malice.
In October last year, an NSW supreme court jury found the case in favour of the former Windies batsman, who sued Fairfax Media over articles published in January 2016. In the latest development, Gayle received the cash from the respective party.

They also received the warning from the particular court for spreading false news to defame a celebrity. However, all ended on a sweet note for Gayle while Fairfax media found themselves on the wrong side of things.
