The Board of Control for Cricket in India’s (BCCI) Committee of Administrators (CoA) has reportedly asked the Supreme Court to unveil the names of those nine corrupted IPL cricketers, who were suspected during the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2013 corruption. The Justice Mudgal Committee has handed over an envelope of 13 names to Supreme Court in a sealed cover.

However, only four names came out from the court, who hesitated to reveal the other player names in the envelope. Meanwhile, the latest report suspects that Indian star cricket is involved with the spot-fixer.

CoA wants BCCI to make a probe:

The CoA quoted sending the names of the nine cricketers to the BCCI’s Anti-Corruption Unit for investigation will send a strong message for the players. They also believe it would help them to make the game of cricket corruption free as well.

As per the reports, the Justice Mudgal committee had named 13 people in the envelope submitted to the Supreme Court in 2014. But only, four names have so far been revealed.

Rajasthan Royals co-owner Raj Kundra, Chennai Super Kings team principal, Gurunath Meiyappan, the former BCCI president, N Srinivasan and the IPL COO, Sundar Raman. Kundra and Meiyappan were handed life bans by the BCCI, while Srinivasan and Raman were given clean chits.

“Enough allegations were made against the players. Nine players, not just one,” Misra was quoted as saying.

Though things are getting older, CoA wants to dig out the remaining names on the paper. The respective board wants to make a probe and get rid of them from the professional cricket. Meanwhile, all the nine players are not corrupted, as they were only the allegations.

The supreme court hasn’t got enough proofs to term the respective cricketers on the list as guilt. Meanwhile, naming the players without proper evidence will lead to the safety of the individual, which played a key role in hiding the names of the players.

I just love what I script. Over the years, Cricket has been my passion and crisping articles on it gives me an immense pleasure...Cheers...!!!
