''Coming Soon'' - Hardik Pandya Provides An Update On His Comeback

It has been a long time since watching Hardik Pandya in action for the Indian National Cricket Team. The right-handed all-rounder from Baroda went under the knives for his back surgery and currently, undergoing Rehab process. In the meantime, he delivered a much-required update for his fans on social media with his practice video.

The Baroda all-rounder is currently on a break and is recovering from his prolonged injury that he suffered during the Asia Cup last September in UAE. He recovered to play in the Indian Premier League 2019, and the World Cup before the injury resurfaced.

Coming soon, near you – Hardik Pandya

Pandya, who is an integral part of the Indian team during the next year’s World T20 in Australia, is expected to make a comeback within a few days. He played the T20I series against South Africa before being ruled out of the Test series because of the injury. He also missed the series against Bangladesh and also the ongoing series against the West Indies.

Recently, Hardik Pandya stated that he is drawing inspiration from the Indian skipper Virat Kohli. Speaking to IANS, Hardik Pandya said that he would work on his body before making a comeback into the Indian team. He wants to be a better player than what he was earlier for the team.

“Cricketing part I can improve by working for months. I am only focused on my body. You must have seen with Virat Kohli as well. He is the biggest example because the way he trains and the way he is, a fit Virat is always a better Virat than he was. That is motivation.”

“I want to win the World T20 and that is the plan. Have come close to it many times — the Champions Trophy in 2017 and sadly missed the 2019 World Cup. Our game might suit Australia. I wish to help the team get the trophy,” he signed off.

Well, it would be interesting to see how things would turn out for Hardik Pandya. The Indian team have tried Shivam Dube in his absence, but the youngster was unable to touch the impact created by Hardik Pandya.
