Team India cricketers Rohit Sharma and Kuldeep Yadav had a funny exchange between themselves which is winning all over the internet. Meanwhile, the duo is taking some time to recover from Team India’s Edgbaston loss.
The second of the five-match Test series commences on August 9 (Thursday) at Lord’s Cricket Ground in London. India will look to recover from their stinging loss and come back strong in the next game.
Indian batsmen except skipper Virat Kohli failed to offer any resistance against the English bowlers. Kohli brought his maiden hundred in England and backed it with a fighting half-century in the second essay.
However, the batsmen will have to rise to the occasion and take extra responsibility on their shoulders. India struggled due to poor starts, and they will be keen not to replicate the mistake again.
Furthermore, Test specialist Cheteshwar Pujara is likely to return to the first XI after surprisingly missing the series opener. Ajinkya Rahane also needs to play according to his reputation and provide stability in the middle-order.
Moreover, it is likely that young wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant will make his debut in the Test team at Lord’s. Pant has shown consistency during India A’s tour in England and will replace Dinesh Karthik, who failed miserably to score runs in the Test series opener.
India will play the same attack from the first Test, who did a brilliant job by picking 20 wickets in the Tests. Ravichandran Ashwin led the show along with Ishant Sharma and Mohammed Shami.
Funny Exchange between Rohit Sharma and Kuldeep Yadav:
With a few days off ahead of the second Test, the cricketers are spending some self-time to recover from injury. Young spinner Kuldeep, who didn’t feature in the first Test for India, is spending some time exploring the country.
He took a picture to post on social media and inform his fans how he is spending his time.
“Spending a quiet day just exploring and observing life around me… #goodvibes,” the post read.
Meanwhile, Rohit, who is not in India’s Test squad was quick to reply. He took a sarcastic dig at Kuldeep asking him to roam around without playing cricket.
On the other hand, Kuldeep admitted that he is missing Rohit’s company in the United Kingdom (UK).
