The happy owner of the team sent his awe words for his players Colin Munro and Bravo brothers. He also mentioned the effort put in by the bowler, Khary Pierre who has been very economical in his spell for the team.

His tweet read ”Wow Colin Munro, DJ Bravo & my boy Darren Bravo. You guys were fantastic. Best when I watch it from home!! K Pierre well done. Trinbago Knight Riders, this is how we play…too happy.”

However, the congratulation from the leading man of the team will always be an encouraging sign for the team players.

Shah Rukh Khan who knows how to appreciate his players is one of the best franchise owners in the cricketing world.

As it happened:

It was Jamaica Tallawahs who were asked to bat first after losing the toss. The wicketkeeper-batsman, Glenn Philips once again showed his brilliance by knocking a blistering 80 to his name in just 55 deliveries.

However, none of the batsmen from Jamaica stood with Philips to boost the score in the initial overs. Although it was David Miller, who took the things away from TKR with a stunning 72 runs off just 34 balls.

In reply to Jamaica’s 182, Sunil Narine registered a duck while Chris Lynn was run out for just five runs on the board. Adding an insult, Brendon McCullum too walked back cheaply. However, Colin Muno and Darren Bravo hung in the middle to stitch 107-run partnership for the fourth wicket.

Though Munro and Darren were out in quick succession, Dwayne Bravo’s 11-ball 36 ensured a thrilling victory for Trinbago Knight Riders against Jamaica Tallawahs in CPL 2018.
