Rahkeem Cornwall is the heaviest man in world cricket at the moment but his reflexes, anticipations and ability to dive is as good as anyone. Cornwall has already thrilled the audience with his sensational catching ability and now he has done it for St. Lucia Zouks in the CPL 2020 fixture against Guyana Amazon Warriors.

Fielding in the first slip, Cornwall took heavy strides as he kept the ball in his sight, to dive forward to take the catch off Imran Tahir off Zahir Khan’s delivery. Tahir was sent packing for a first-ball duck as the entire innings for the Guyana Amazon Warriors was cut short to only 55 runs.

Not just that, Cornwall also continued to lead the charge with the bat for his side, as he top-scored to lead them to a comfortable 10-wicket victory. Cornwall hit an unbeaten 32 off 17 deliveries to steer St. Lucia Zouks to victory in their Caribbean Premier League semi-final after just 27 balls of the run chase.

This, however, was not the first time Cornwall has pulled off a stunner at the slips. He has done in it for the national team as well. Cornwall, who was acing his look with the double cap at slips, made sure he did not let the ball slip off his hands as he took a sharp catch to dismiss Rory Burns off a delivery from Roston Chase in the final Test at Manchester against England.

The native from where Cornwall belongs, his build, is natural and he has been fondly called as ‘jimbo’ over the years. But Cornwall, the 140kg cricketer, continues to prove his prowess with fine catches.
