Cricket Fraternity Pours Wishes On PM Narendra Modi's Birthday

Current India Prime Minister Narendra Modi is celebrating his 69th birthday on September 17 (Tuesday). Since the clock ticked 12, wishes started pouring in on social media from all spheres of life. Indian cricketing fraternity also came forward to wish the Prime Minister on his birthday.
Narendra Modi is an Indian politician serving as the 14th and current Prime Minister of India since 2014. He was the Chief Minister of Gujarat from 2001 to 2014, and is the Member of Parliament for Varanasi. Modi is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), and of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), a Hindu nationalist volunteer organisation.

He is the first prime minister outside of the Indian National Congress to win two consecutive terms with a full majority, and the second one to complete five years in office after Atal Bihari Vajpayee. His political inclination started at a young age of eight with RSS. The RSS assigned him to the BJP in 1985, and he held several positions within the party hierarchy until 2001, rising to the rank of general secretary.

Meanwhile, Narendra Modi, on his birthday, is on a visit to his home state Gujarat. The Prime Minister reached Ahmedabad on Monday night, where a handful of BJP supporters including Gujarat Chief Minister was present to receive the Prime Minister.
Modi started his birthday meeting his mother Heeraben Modi, who stays alone in Gujarat. He will also be performing puja at the Narmada district of Gujarat before returning to New Delhi.
