Hamstrung Ambati Rayudu Will Miss 'Atmost' One More Game For CSK In IPL 2020: Kasi Viswanathan

Ambati Rayudu will most almost one more game for the Chennai Super Kings before he comes back to the fold to once again spearhead the three-time champions batting-unit in the 2020 Dream11 IPL, CSK CEO Kasi Viswanathan has said.
Eyebrows were raised when skipper MS Dhoni said at the toss in CSK’s last game against Rajasthan Royals that Ambati Raydu was not 100 percent to take part in the match, forcing the think-tank to replace him with debutant Ruturaj Gaikwad.
As it turned out, Ambati Rayudu is nursing a hamstring injury and while some media reports initially suggested that the ace middle-order batsman could miss at least two games, CSK CEO has cleared the air in a recent interaction with ANI.

Speaking to ANI, CEO Kasi Viswanathan said-
“Nothing to worry about. He has the hamstring injury, but will at worst miss one more game. But you never know, he might be fit in time for that game,”
Ambati Rayudu is a vital cog in CSK’s batting and his absence was dearly felt by the former champions during their eventual unsuccessful chase of 217 against Rajasthan Royals. Rayudu was in brilliant form in the first game and his 48-ball 71 was one of the prime reasons behind CSK overhauling the Mumbai Indians target.
Rayudu is celebrating his birthday today and the official Twitter handle of CSK posted a heartwarming message for the temperament middle-order batsman.
”Super Birthday dear Bahubali, AM-BA-TI-RAAY-DU! Wishing you a biryani of a year ahead,”

CSK, meanwhile, will lock horns with Delhi Capitals on September 25, post which they will have a one week break before their clash against SunRisers Hyderabad on October 02, giving Ambati Rayudu ample time to return to 100 percent fitness.
