Danielle Wyatt Tweets as England Women's Cricket Team Wins BBC SPOTY Award

England’s Women Cricket team won the BBC Sports Personality of the Year Award for clinching the Women’s World Cup, as they defeated India by nine runs at the iconic Lords.

England women cricketers were present at the event to receive the prestigious award. One of them was the all-rounder Danielle Wyatt.

Days after Wyatt was trolled on the social media after Virat Kohli married Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma, Wyatt finally had something to cheer about.

Wyatt later got trolled on the social media knowing she is a big fan of him, and once jokingly proposed to the Indian skipper on Twitter as well. She revealed she had a crush on the star Indian batsman.

However, since the wedding news came out in public, she got trolled by Twitteratis and was consoled by her fans and even by her teammates. On Sunday after the winning the BBC SPOTY award with her English teammates, Wyatt Tweeted,

“Wow! What a year topped off by winning this beauty #SPOTY #teamgoals. Amazing night as always @BBCSport.”
