Daughter Of Dying Man Asks For Help, This Is What Gautam Gambhir Said
The game of cricket has seen very few characters as aggressive as Gautam Gambhir. The former India opener was always ready for a verbal duel on the field and was rarely seen sporting a smile. Gambhir was so aggressive that he did not even think twice before having an on-field fight with even his teammate Virat Kohli.
But behind that rough and tough personality, there lies a man who is very sympathetic and helpful. In the last few years, Gautam Gambhir has shown that side of his personality. He has never backed away from supporting the soldiers and even took the responsibility of the daughters of the martyrs. In Delhi, he also runs a community kitchen to feed the needy without charging them.
Perhaps this is the reason why his political career started with a bang. In his maiden stint as politician, Gautam Gambhir won the seat from East Delhi. He has now once again justified the faith shown in him by the millions. The legendary opener did not hesitate or delay in helping a lady who asked him for his help.
On Sunday, the lady named Unnati Madan took to Twitter to tell Gautam Gambhir about her father’s deteriorating health conditions. She also said that she does not have enough finance to take her father to any private hospital and asked the World Cup-winner for help.
“@GautamGambhir Sir I need help. my father needs help. He is suffering from CLD and a body infection which is damaging his main organs. He was admitted in aiims for 48 hours, however, was released because of unavailability of bed,” the lady wrote in one of her tweets.
And to her surprise as well as utter delight, Gautam Gambhir responded immediately, asking her to send him her number.
“Pls send me ur no. ASAP,” wrote the ex-cricketer-turned-commentator.
