SunRisers Hyderabad captain David Warner has not enjoyed a good time against English speedster Jofra Archer. Jofra Archer claimed David Warner’s wicket more than twice in the 2019 Ashes while getting him out four out of five times in the recently-concluded white-ball leg in England. The 25-year old dismissed the southpaw yet again in the ongoing IPL game.

David Warner struggled to get the timing right on a sluggish track of the Dubai International Stadium. The 33-year old dragged himself to 48 and was looking to unleash havoc on the Rajasthan Royals’ bowlers in the last five overs. However, the Royals’ skipper Steve Smith realized the same and brought Archer for his third over. Jofra Archer, who had given only three runs in two overs, uprooted Warner’s stumps as he looked to drive through the cover region.

SunRisers Hyderabad won the toss and elected to bat against Rajasthan Royals in what is the seventh game for both the teams. The Orange Army made only one change by drafting Vijay Shankar for Abdul Samad. On the other hand, Rajasthan Royals, who are on a four-match losing streak, carried three changes. All-rounder Ben Stokes returned for Andrew Tye while Robin Uthappa, Jaydev Unadkat, and Riyan Parag came for Yashasvi Jaiswal, Varun Aaron, and Mahipal Lomror. Earlier, Kartik Tyagi removed Jonny Bairstow with relative ease.
