Watch: Sanju Samson Pulls Off Stunning Catch To Send Jonny Bairstow Packing

Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 is in its mid-season and has almost seen everything that is expected from a shortest format of the game. The IPL 2020 has seen some extraordinary fielding efforts on the ropes, relay catches being taken, centuries being hit and team chasing down totals in excess of 220 runs!

Albeit without fans in the stadium, the excitement for IPL 2020 continues to surmount. Sunday witnesses a double header with SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) hosting Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the first match. SRH are batting currently but the Jaipur franchise broke the opening partnership with the wicket of Jonny Bairstow.

Bairstow was the first wicket to fall for SRH as he tried to clear the fence towards the cowcorner from the back off a length delivery from Karthik Tyagi but found a diving Sanju Samson in the deep. Samson anticipated the ball, kept his calm, and made a diving effort to his left to sent Bairstow packing. The wicket fell in the 5th over soon after the Englishman had clubbed Tyagi for a maximum.
