Meanwhile, Kohli has a huge fan following not only in India but all across the world. Being one of the most popular faces in cricket, it is quite fitting to get his statue unveiled at the Madame Tussauds in New Delhi on June six in 2018.
Moreover, Tussauds is the most popular wax museum for celebrities including sportspersons. It has around 24 different locations all around the world.
However, the location in New Delhi has been made public on 1st of December, 2017.

Kohli shared the video on social media platform and also captioned it quite beautifully.
“Come 6th of June, let’s play statue! Excited to be at #MadameTussauds #TussaudsDelhi @madametussaudsdelhi @madametussauds,” Kohli captioned the video.
The post eventually attracted a lot of social media attention and it was exactly that way.
There were several love comments for Kohli. Among the various people commenting on the post, a very popular name of a cricketer popped up.
Interestingly, disgraced Australian cricketer, David Warner gave a pretty cheeky comment.
Warner’s request to Virat Kohli:
Warner requested Kohli to have an actual picture with Virat Kohli and not the statue of the star cricketer.
“Can I have a real photo please,” asked David Warner in his comment.
Apparently, it looks that Kohli has not seen the comment yet. The reaction of Kohli will excite many. But he hasn’t given a timely response.
