"You Made Me Believe": Delhi Capitals Fan Pens Heartfelt Letter For Anrich Nortje

South Africa fast bowler Anrich Nortje has been a revelation in the IPL 2020. He has quickly become a household name in the cricketing fraternity at the back of his brilliant performances for Delhi Capitals. It is his presence and combined with Kagiso Rabada which has added mettle to the team’s bowling.
His exceptional pace has made it difficult for the batsmen to pick him as he continues to damage the opposition with his brilliance. Nortje, after bowling the fastest IPL delivery, has also set his sight on Shoaib Akhtar’s record.
‘The kind of pace you are delivering is amazing’
The fan, in his heartfelt letter, said that Nortje has been amazing this year with the kind of pace he has delivered. He also mentioned that he has been supporting Delhi Capitals for the past 13 years and he has never felt so secure about their bowling. Kranti, the fan, also belives that Delhi Capitals will defend anything inside 150 runs.
“Hey Anrich, this is Kranti from DC Toli. Hope you are doing good. You have been amazing this year. The kind of pace you are delivering is amazing.
“I’ve been supporting Delhi Capitals from past 13 years and I never feel secure in terms of bowling but you made me believe that DC’s bowling can be lethal and now even if we’ve to defend 150 I sit back and relax because my inner voice says ‘Nortje will handle’,” the fan wrote.

Nortje raked up a speed of 156.22 kmph against Rajasthan Royals. He also bowled the second and third fastest deliveries in IPL history — at 155.21 and 154.74 respectively. But he is not done with it and wants to hit above the 160kmph on the speed gun.
Delhi Capitals will face SunRisers Hyderabad in the IPL 2020 eliminator 2 later in the day.
