Dinesh Karthik Reveals Difference Among MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli And Rohit Sharma Captaincy Styles

Well, Dinesh Karthik is one of the few players in the current setup of Indian National Cricket Team to be played under MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli And Rohit Sharma’s Captaincy. Being himself a captain, Dinesh Karthik finds out the difference within each individual, who garnered huge success in their own ways for the team.

Both MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli have been exceptional for team India in all formats of the game. They both led the team to memorable victories in the international arena with their astute captaincy. The latest to join them is Rohit Sharma, who got a decent record in captaincy chart.

The flamboyant batsman quoted that all the three players are unique in marshalling the troops. He called Mahendra Singh Dhoni as the instinctive captain, who changes the plan as per the need of the situation. Karthik believes it is a great quality.

Coming to Virat Kohli, Karthik quoted that Kohli likes to lead the team from the front and very aggressive in his approach. He showered quite a few praises on Virat Kohli for increasing his bar in the batting and captaincy charts. Meanwhile, he termed Rohit Sharma as a very strategic captain.

“MS is very instinctive as a skipper. He takes a lot of decisions on the field in the spur of the moment. Virat on the other hand, is very aggressive, likes to take on the opposition. He is immensely self-confident and has consistently kept raising the bar, as a batter and a leader,” Dinesh Karthik quoted.

”And then there is Rohit. He always does his homework, is very strategic, very hands-on. Keeps going and speaking with his bowlers, has a word with the batters too. He is very thorough in his approach as a captain,” Karthik added while speaking to Hindustan Times in an exclusive interview.

Well, Dinesh Karthik explained the styles of the three captains in a brilliant way. What is surprising to see is that all the three players have garnered success in leading the troops with their own mantras.

Currently, MS Dhoni is more like a player-cum-mentor of the team while Virat Kohli is the regular skipper across the formats. Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma is the deputy of Virat in limited overs versions of the game.
