It has been one of the worst years for former Australian vice-captain David Warner. The southpaw batsman was the leading villain of the ball tampering scandal. Subsequently, he had to face the aftermath of his actions and was heavily criticised. However, Warner ended 2018 with some good news as he is going to be a father again.

Candice Warner, wife of David Warner announced the good news on her Twitter handle. In fact, Candice Warner had to face a miscarriage when Warner was involved in the ball tampering scandal. Warner already has two young daughters, Ivy Mae and Indi Rae.

“Being together has made us into the family we are today. We are so grateful for all the love and support everyone has shown us this year. It is with a full heart that we would like to share with you that in 2019 our family of 4 will become a family of 5. Happy new year,” Candice Warner wrote on her Twitter handle.

Meanwhile, David Warner was the mastermind of the ball tampering scandal. Subsequently, he was banned for one year and can not hold any leadership role in Australian cricket for his entire life.

On the other hand, Cameron Bancroft who carried out the action on the ball revealed it was David Warner who encouraged him to alter the condition of the ball.
