There is hardly any better sight than watching India and Pakistan play against each other, be it any sport or whether the junior or the senior teams lock horns. And these matches always serve the fans some of the best moments on the field and the semi-final clash between two arch-rivals at the U-19 World Cup had one to provide. It was in the 34th over that Divyansh Saxena pulled off an outstanding catch to dismiss the dangerous batsman, Mohammad Haris.

The left-arm bowler Atharva Ankolekar bowled a flighted delivery and Haris slog-swept it towards the fine leg boundary. The ball was quite far from him, but he made up his mind and dived low to his right after steaming in.

Well, the on-field umpires has asked for help from upstairs, having given the soft-signal as out. Replays confirmed that the palms were entirely underneath the ball, creating a crucial breakthrough in the context of the game.

Haris could have taken the game away from India, having already smashed a four and a six in his 15-ball 21.

Earlier it was Sushant Mishra, who unsettled the top-order with his barrage of short-pitched deliveries.

The Men in Green already struggled to get going throughout the innings and have set a paltry total of 173 to chase for India.

Captain Rohail Nazir top-scored with 62 while opening batsman Haider Ali managed 56 in his side’s total of 172.

The pick of the bowlers was Sushant Mishra, who picked three wickets. Kartik Tyagi and Ravi Bishnoi chipped in with two wickets each. Besides, Ankolekar and Yashasvi Jaiswal also contributed for wicket apiece.
