Former India fast-bowler Dodda Ganesh has lashed out at Sri Lankan cricket journalist Daniel Alexander for one of his recent tweets about Team India. The journalist from the island nation has reduced himself to a mere troll thanks to his mindless whining about Team India and the Indian players every now and then.

In fact, even a troll won’t be as ignorant as Daniel and a mere look at his tweets would be enough to prove it. He has made it a habit of belittling Indian cricket at every possible opportunity on Twitter. And he was at it again last week following India’s loss to Australia in the first ODI at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG).

Following the game, he took to Twitter to talk about it and started his tweet like a journalist is supposed to do. Daniel wrote some notable stats before ending his tweet like a regular troll does. He called India, their skipper and one of the cricket’s most decorated batsman Virat Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah massively over-rated, tweeting:

“Australia crush India in 1st ODI. Steve Smith world’s finest all format batsman. India’s 6th consecutive defeat in Internationals. Also, India’s 425th defeat in ODIs, world record most ODI defeats by a team in ODI history. India, Kohli & Bumrah are massively over-rated.”

The tweet was noticed by Dodda Ganesh and he decided to react to it. The former cricketer tagged Mental Health Education in his tweet and asked them to take care of Daniel who ‘is obsessed with Indian cricket’. Dodda Ganesh also said that he would bear the entire cost of the treatment, writing:

“Dear @mheduNIMHANS, can you take care of this guy ? He’s obsessed with Indian cricket. I’m ready to pay from my pocket for his treatment. Please consider my request”

Meanwhile, the ongoing three-match series has been already decided after Australia’s win in the first two games. The third and final match of the series will take place on Wednesday (December 2).
