The visit of Donald Trump to India is one massive affair, which caught the attention of the world. As the meeting is related to sports, all the sports stars had followed the event to watch Trump giving his speech. Though it went smoothly, his pronunciation of Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli sent Twitter into a frenzy.

Speaking at Ahmedabad’s Motera Stadium, President Trump praised PM Narendra Modi and listed achievements of his government. He also thanked people of India for ‘spectacular welcome’, saying that India will hold a very special place in his heart from this day on.
Speaking at a public rally in front of roughly 100 000 people, Trump tried to connect with his audience by referencing a couple of the country’s most adored cricket players.
Donald Trump On Sachin Tendulkar And Virat Kohli:

As soon as Trump mentioned the names of the two biggest cricketers, the entire Motera Stadium clapped and cheered on. Prime Minister Narendra Modi was seen with a big smile as Trump mentioned the players.
Though the people at the venue enjoyed the mention of those names, the public on Social media trolled Trump for pronouncing the names in the wrong manner.
Even the cricketers couldn’t stop themselves tweeting about the speech of Trump.
“This is the country where your people cheer on some of the world’s greatest cricket players, from Soo-chin Tendulkar to Veerot Kohli,” Trump said.
