The bromance between Rohit Sharma and Yuvraj Singh is not a secret anymore. Time and again, one has seen the two entertaining the fans by pulling each other’s legs on social media. The two were at it again on Thursday when Yuvraj Singh was celebrating his birthday. The former India cricketer turned 38 this week.

Yuvraj Singh is regarded as one of the biggest match-winners the country has ever produced. He ended his glorious international career that spanned nearly two decades this year. Yuvraj Singh had made his debut in ICC KnockOut Trophy in Kenya and impressed in his the very first match which was against the all-conquering Australian team. He scored a match-winning 84 against the likes of Glenn McGrath, Brett Lee and Jason Gillespie.

What sets Yuvraj Singh apart was his penchant for stepping up on the big occasions. The legendary batsman starred in India’s two biggest title wins of the century – World T20 in 2007 and the World Cup in 2011. He will always be remembered for the six sixes that he hit in one over against England’s Stuart Broad in the inaugural 2007 World T20 at Durban.

Four years later, he starred with both bat and ball as India won the 50-over World Cup after a long gap of 28 years. He had gone on to win the Man of the Tournament award for his sensational all round performances. But tragedy struck soon and he was diagnosed with cancer. But the fighter he is, he came out on top in his fight against the deadly disease and made a fairytale return to cricket. In his illustrious career, he played 304 ODIs, 58 T20Is and 40 Tests and scored over 10,000 runs.

Rohit Sharma vs Yuvraj Singh:

The entire cricket fraternity wished Yuvraj Singh on his birthday on Thursday. Fans, cricketers as well as celebrities from other fields took to Twitter to wish Yuvraj Singh and Rohit Sharma also followed suit. But unlike others, Rohit did not simply wish Yuvraj but tried to pull his legs. Calling Yuvraj a self-proclaimed omniscient, Rohit wrote:

“Happy birthday to the self proclaimed omniscient. Also, you’re past the age of bachelor trips ?‍♂️
@YUVSTRONG12″

Yuvraj was amused by Rohit’s tweet and soon replied, writing:

“Haha thanks brothaman don’t be jealous ?”
