KL Rahul will always remember his first innings on the England soil. The flamboyant right-hander is batting at the top of his game. Rahul scored an excellent unbeaten 101 off just 54 balls to help his team get over the line in the first T20I against England in Manchester.

In fact, the right-hander got emotional after reaching his second T20I hundred. The stylish batsman scored ten fours and five maximums in his blistering knock.

Meanwhile, there were doubts over the place of KL Rahul in the Indian team playing XI.

However, as he scored a fine half-century in the second T20I against Ireland, he was given his much-deserved opportunity. Furthermore, he scored a truckload of runs in the Indian Premier League.

Rahul is batting at the top of his game. Thus, the Karnataka batsman is hitting everything from the middle of the bat. He is timing the ball to perfection and his ability to find the gaps on the field is immaculate.

One of the most important reasons behind Rahul success in the recent past is his timing. The right-hander is not trying to hit the ball hard, and it is pure timing on which he has concentrated his whole energy.

Meanwhile, India was able to take the first right steps in England, as they went on to win the first match by eight wickets.

Kuldeep Yadav was the chief destroyer of the hosts batting line-up, as the chinaman scalped five wickets and gave away only 24 runs in his quota of four overs.

The southpaw wrist spinner was also given the Man of the match for turning the match by his bowling. Thus, it was a dominating display from the Men in Blue. India will face England in the second T20I at Sophia Gardens on July 6th.
