Team India skipper Virat Kohli led from the front to guide his team post a massive total against England on day three of the third Test at Trent Bridge. Here we are with the statistical highlights.

Kohli, meanwhile, scored his second hundred of the series to take the lead over 400-run mark. He along with Cheteshwar Pujara dominated the English attack throughout the first two sessions.

While Kohli was the aggressor, Pujara played the waiting game. He left balls outside the off stump to frustrate the English bowlers. The likes of James Anderson and Stuart Broad looked venomless as they struggled to attract any swing from the pitch. Although Pujara departed adding 72 runs, there was no stopping Virat Kohli. Kohli then partnered Ajinkya Rahane to bring his second century grandly. This is his fifth hundred against England and 23rd overall.

Although Kohli departed shortly, Hardik Pandya ensured the scoreboard keeps moving. After a superb bowling spell, he was out with the bat doing the job for India. He soon reached his fifty in equal number of balls before Virat Kohli called his players from the dressing room to set a target of 521 runs against England.
