One of the most elegant batsmen England has seen, Kevin Pietersen is hoping to see a masterclass knock from India captain, Virat Kohli at the KIA Oval on day two.
There is no doubt about the fact that Virat Kohli is the greatest batsman of his generation. The records which he already has staked up speaks volumes about a man who has taken giant strides in international cricket and has established himself as one of the greats of the game.
He has a huge fan following all across the globe. Kevin Pietersen is also a big fan of the India skipper. Calling him the best batsman of his era, Pietersen said, as he makes his way to the Oval, KP is hopeful of seeing a classy inning from the Modern Master.
Taking to his twitter handle, Pietersen wrote,
???On my way to The Oval & I???m requesting a clinic from @imVkohli, please? Thanks, bro! There isn???t anything better than watching the best in this era doing his thing!???
Kohli is the leading run-scorer in the ongoing series among both the teams by a country mile. He has already scored 544 runs in the series and will be hoping to break the record of Gary Sobers of most runs in England in a particular series.

Alastair Cook finally managed to score a half-century in his farewell Test. Moeen Ali also batted well for a half-century. The hosts lost only Keaton Jennings in the first two sessions.

However, the visitors bounced back very strongly in the final session to bag six wickets and took the day one honour.
