Team India wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant, who started off his career with a six smashed another audacious six off Moeen Ali on the final day of the fifth and the final Test against England at the Kennington Oval in London.

Well, it was a one-handed slap. The southpaw came dancing down the track. He failed to get to the pitch of the ball and smashed it with one hand. The ball went sailing over the fence for a huge six.

Since then, Pant has enjoyed himself and has smashed some excellent shots. After getting the privilege to go after the bowlers, he did his best and smashed a fine half-century.

The southpaw looked in great touch and smashed the English bowlers all around the park. It was some exciting piece of strokeplay by the duo of Pant and KL Rahul.

The opening batsman Rahul, who desperately needed some runs smashed a sensational century and looked in great touch. Rahul smashed the English bowlers all around the park and looked in complete control of proceedings.

Attack took the best out of two batters who are generally brilliant strikers of the ball. India began the day with Ajinkya Rahane and Rahul.

Rahul was in his sublime best, and the innings will give him confidence going into the future tours. On the other hand, Pant played a remarkable role.

Despite the century partnership between the duo, the visitors are still staring down the barrel, and unless they bat out of their skin, it won’t be an easy job to win save the Test match.

However, the performance of Pant and Rahul will give both of them a lot of confidence.

In all likelihood, after England series, explosive India batter Rishabh Pant will be the first-choice wicket-keeper for the tour of Australia in the absence of Wriddhiman Saha.
